Raeanne Brazee, founder of Boston Baby Beginnings, is a Registered Nurse, licensed ultrasonographer and certified Prepared Childbirth Educator with over 10 years experience in obstetrics. She has worked as a maternal-child nurse in Boston where she specialized in postpartum, antepartum and newborn. She currently works as a perinatal nurse, where she performs ultrasounds and cares for high-risk obstetrical patients. When Raeanne is not working or teaching childbirth classes she enjoys spending time with her husband, two boys & baby girl.

photo Marguerite Bilms

Marguerite Bilms is a Teacher of Students with Severe Special Needs and Deafblindness. She received her Master of Education degree at Boston College in May 2011 after working extensively with individuals who are deafblind for 11 years. Marguerite was accepted as a Helen Keller Fellow during her final year of graduate studies, a fellowship which further enhanced her professional expertise with current evidence-based practices so that she could best serve this low incidence population. Marguerite currently works as a pre-school teacher in a private school in Massachusetts for children who are deafblind.

Amanda Carman is the founder of Excited 2 Learn, which designs and produces educational and parenting tools that promote children’s curiosity and development, making learning fun and parenting easier.  As a teacher and a mother, Amanda is responsible for the educational concept design of the products. Amanda graduated from Williams College with a degree in Psychology.  She holds a Master's Degree in Early Childhood Education from Tufts University and has completed extensive post graduate work in behavioral education.  Amanda enjoys running, painting, cooking, entertaining and most of all having fun with her family!

Melissa DuBois has been working as a registered nurse since her graduation from UMass Amherst in 2006. After starting out as a medical-surgical float nurse, she achieved a dream opportunity in obstetrics and has been working as a labor & delivery nurse in both urban and community settings since 2007. Outside of work Melissa enjoys healthful cooking, cake decorating, entertaining and sunny days by the pool. In the past she has volunteered with ICAN and CIMS. Melissa also plans to attend school to become a certified nurse midwife in the near future. She lives with her husband and their lazy, but very cute dog in Worcester County.

Deanna is a Social Writer for Pregnancy.Pampers.com, as well as a freelance writer for a number of other social networking and educational websites.  A 2003 graduate of Bridgewater State College, Deanna holds degrees in both Elementary Physical Education and Dance Education.  She resigned her position as a teacher in order to become a stay at home mother, and is happily raising her three beautiful children while running a small home daycare.  In her free time Deanna enjoys photography, and loves to hike with her dog and ride bikes with her family.

Jenny Ann Jones is a Registered Nurse on the Maternity Unit at Beth Israel Deaconess Medical Center. She has been working with new mothers and babies for over 10 years. Jen became involved with teaching a "multiples workshop" when she discovered from other moms of twins and triplets that they were underprepared when their new babies arrived. When she is not chasing her 4-year-old son and twin toddler daughters, Jen enjoys beach days, a good book and a full night of sleep! She lives with her husband and children on the South Shore.

photo Kathleen Patten

Kathleen is a Registered Nurse currently working in the Newborn Intensive Care Unit (NICU) at Beth Israel Deaconess Medical Center. Born and bred in Boston, she graduated from Northeastern University in 1999 and immediately started her career in the NICU. She has been working with infants and families for over 10 years as a Registered Nurse, mainly in newborn critical care but has also spent 5 years in a major Boston hospital caring for Pediatric patients as well. When not working, Kathleen is an avid music fan - and loves nothing more than spending time with her 4 year old daughter and husband at their South Shore home.

Renee Pustizzi is a Registered Nurse on the Maternity Unit at the Beth Israel Deaconess Medical Center. She has been working with new mothers and infants for over 11 years. Prior to working on the Maternity Unit, Renee worked as a Registered Nurse on an Acute Medical Unit at the Beth Israel Medical Center. Renee has been a CPR instructor for over 11 years and provides CPR certification to hospital employees and members of her community. Renee has also worked as a clinical instructor for Bunker Hill Community College for the School of Nursing. When not working or teaching, Renee enjoys spending time with her husband and three children.
